Our warehouse in Brierley Hill DY5 is looking to recruit a full-time, permanent, reliable Production Operative.
As a Production Operative, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and seamless functioning of our warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage in the assembly and manufacturing of furniture, ensuring precision and quality in the production process.
- Perform light machine work, including the use of specialised equipment.
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials required for furniture production. Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts, in a safe and responsible manner.
- Accurately pick, pack, and prepare furniture orders for shipping, adhering to quality standards and customer requirements.
- Maintain accurate stock records, keeping track of inventory levels and reporting any discrepancies.
- Keep the production area clean, Organised, and free of hazards to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and company policies to promote a secure working environment.
- Manage waste disposal in compliance with environmental regulations.
Requirements:
- Technical Aptitude - Basic understanding of furniture production machinery and tools.
